Description
I suppose this is my last artwork of 2016 and first of 2017. Dang I played me a lot of Pokemon back in the day. I had Red. And I totally caught all 151! I got Mew with the help of a gameshark because there was no way Nintendo was holding a Mew giveaway event anywhere near me as a kid. Though I hear some people have found a glitch that lets you catch one without "cheats".

" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/>This is an excellent painting. The shading is spot on, and that expression! Do not cross this woman! The colors used look great together as well.
My niggles are relatively minor, but here they are for what it is worth:
1) There are no ripples around her. If she's standing in water, there should definitely be a few rippled.
2) The finger that's sticking out from behind her ponytail looks odd. If you try to separate your own pinky (which I assume it must be given the position of her arm) from your ring finger, you'll notice that your ring finger kind of goes along for the ride. As it looks right now, her pinky is practically at a right angle from the rest of her hand, which would be quite uncomfortable indeed!
But that was it. Otherwise, this is a great piece! Well done!
